SURPLUS CARCANO M91 BAYONET WITH SCABBARD

Surplus Carcano M91 Bayonet with Scabbard. These are original Italian Carcano M91 Bayonets, from the Italian Carabinieri and they are in Very Good to Fair Surplus condition. These bayonets have probably been sitting in the Carabinieri’s armories for at least 70 years.

This lot of bayonets is in Very Good to Fair Surplus condition, the majority of these bayonets have very strong bluing (almost black) on them. The appear to all be in working order.

The bayonets and scabbards are made by various manufacturers, some will have markings some will not. Some will have serial numbers, some will not.

The scabbards have either brass or steel fittings. The leather on the bullseye plumbing appears to have been treated with leather conditioner. They may have cracks in the leather, and other assorted marks. Scabbards will be intact unless otherwise noted.

These Bayonets, will fit all M91 (Model 1891) rifles and carbines except for the Cavalry Carbine, and M91 TS with the transverse bayonet lug.

Handling a Gun and Trigger Safely:

• Never assume that a gun is unloaded.
• No one should ever raise a gun at another person.
• Before pulling the trigger, be sure your finger is totally straight and not on the trigger.
• Load the rifle only when you’re ready to fire.
• Before loading and firing, make sure the barrel is clean of anything.
• If the gun does not fire when you pull the trigger, keep it in the firing position for a few seconds before gently emptying it while directing the muzzle away from yourself.
